Double Attack Chess Puzzles
A double attack is any single move that creates two threats at once, so the defender can only deal with one of them. It's the broader family of tactic that a fork belongs to — sometimes it's one piece attacking two targets, other times it's a threat against the king combined with a separate threat against material.
Objective
Look for a single move that creates two separate threats at once, so the opponent can't answer both.
Understanding Double Attacks
Scan for moves that do two things simultaneously: check plus capture, capture plus a bigger capture, or a threat the opponent must answer immediately while something else of yours is also hanging over the board. If the opponent truly can't answer both threats in one move, you're looking at a double attack.
